Privacy Policy — Telefone Fácil

Telefone Fácil was designed to operate primarily on the user's own device. CEWIA Tech does not require users to create a CEWIA account to use the app.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Telefone Fácil, developed by CEWIA Tech, accesses and uses information required to provide phone, contacts, call history and address book organization features.

2. Information and device resources accessed

To work properly, Telefone Fácil may request access to the following Android resources:

Contacts: to display, search, create, edit, delete, organize and standardize contacts stored on the device and in contact accounts configured in Android.
Calls and call history: to display recent calls and provide the expected functions of a phone app.
Default phone app role: required to place, receive, answer, reject and end calls, and to control call features when permitted by Android.
Phone line information: to identify relevant SIM/eSIM information and apply dialing rules when such information is made available by Android.
Notifications: to display notices related to app operation, including missed calls when applicable.

3. Silencing unknown numbers

Telefone Fácil includes an optional feature to silence calls from numbers that are not in the user's contacts. When enabled, the app uses information available on the device to determine whether an incoming number matches an existing contact. The call may still appear on screen, but without ringtone or vibration, according to Android capabilities.

4. Address book organization

The Organize Address Book feature analyzes contacts stored on the device to help standardize phone numbers, identify possible duplicates, handle conflicts and organize contact information. Changes are applied only according to the choices and confirmations made by the user.

5. Processing and storage

The main features of Telefone Fácil run locally on the device. The app does not use a CEWIA Tech account, does not require CEWIA login, and does not use a CEWIA cloud service to store the user's contacts, call history or call content.

Contacts may be associated with services configured by the user in Android, such as a Google account. In those cases, synchronization is performed by the services and accounts configured on the device, under the policies of those providers.

6. Data sharing

CEWIA Tech does not sell users' personal data. Telefone Fácil was not designed to share the user's contacts or call history with advertisers or advertising networks.

7. Call recording

The current version of Telefone Fácil does not include call recording.

8. Permissions

Android may require specific permissions for contacts, calls, notifications and related features. Users can review or change permissions in Android settings. Removing certain permissions may prevent the corresponding app features from working.

9. Security

CEWIA Tech seeks to limit app access to resources required for operation and uses an architecture focused on local processing whenever possible. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Telefone Fácil is not specifically directed to children and does not include features intended for the intentional collection of children's personal data by CEWIA Tech.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements or platform policies. The last updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
