CEWIA TechMicrophone and background recording
The app uses the microphone only after you start a recording. A foreground microphone service keeps recording active when you leave the app screen or turn the screen off and displays a notification with pause, resume and stop controls. Notification permission is used to show this progress and these controls.
Local processing
Audio, markers, notes, names, favorites and summaries are processed locally. The app has no internet permission, account, ads, analytics or cloud service. It does not collect or share data with CEWIA Tech or third parties on its own.
Files and sharing
Recordings are saved in the app-specific external area. Audio or a summary is sent to another app or location only when you choose Share and select the destination in Android. Easy Recorder does not record phone calls and does not provide automatic transcription.
Storage, trash and deletion
Metadata is kept in the app's private storage and recordings remain in the app area. Items moved to the trash can be restored or permanently deleted by the user. Clearing app data or uninstalling may remove recordings, markers, notes and preferences; export important files first. Automatic backup and data transfer are disabled.
Consent and control
You decide when to start and stop each recording. You are responsible for following local laws and obtaining people's consent before recording conversations, meetings or classes.
